The students of CK College of Engineering & Technology (CKCET), second-year Computer Science, got an excellent insight into the IT industry with an industrial visit organized to WHY Global Services. In a two-hour interactive session, the students were enriched with knowledge of IT services, industrial trends, and career opportunities.
The session commenced with an introduction to WHY Global Services' core IT services by Ms. Monisha (HR), covering topics such as software development, digital solutions, and enterprise IT consulting. The students learned how IT services enhance business growth, technological trends, and the changing demands of the industry.
Exploring Key IT Domains
Mr. Bala introduced the students to Full Stack Development, the fundamentals of front-end and back-end technologies, and their role in modern software development. The tie-up helped people understand that to be ready for the industry, they need to master as many technologies as possible.
Last, Mr. Praveen gave a session on Digital Marketing & Google Analytics, explaining what tools the companies used from the digital strategy perspective to develop themselves online. The students got hands-on experience with Google Analytics to better understand user tracking, data analysis, and marketing insights.
Building Communication Skills and Goal Setting
For a successful career, soft skills come next to technical knowledge. The session on Communication & Goal Setting was led by Ms. Nithaya, who emphasized the need for good communication, career plans, and self-confidence in the IT industry.

This session also remained enlivened by an exciting Role Play Action Game. While he acted along with a student, others guessed the action behind the number he picked. The activity was all about being a quick thinker and encouraging team spirit through actions.
