WHY Global Services arranged an Industrial Visit recently that was highly educative for the students of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology, further adding another successful implementation to corporate education outreach.
A total number of 54 third-year students of the Information Technology branch were taken for the visit. The program was held at the WHY Global Services premises and was intended to help the students gain some practical insight into IT business, corporate outlook, and currently sought-after technology skill sets.
The entire event was smoothly managed and hosted by Ms. Dhivya. She ensured that everything went smoothly and kept the atmosphere lively and interactive for all present during the visit.
Session Insights
Session 1:
The first session began with a company introduction by Ms. Navanitha Sakthi, HR of WHY Global Services. She explained to the students the company mission and vision, work culture, and the types of digital services provided by the organization. The session helped the students understand what it is really like to be a part of a fast-paced IT services organization and the essential soft skills that go along with that in the corporate world.
Session 2:
In this second session, an enlightening technical talk was presented by Mr. Shyas, Full Stack Developer at WHY Global Services, centered around Full Stack Development (FSD). He also provided insights into emerging trends, technologies, and tools being used in FSD, as well as tips for students to equip themselves with concrete skills in the area. Frontend and backend frameworks, database management, API integration, and real-time project development was the core area discussed. In addition, career options and a growing demand for full-stack developers were highlighted.
Guiding the Future of Technology
The industrial visit imparted to students the rare chance to integrate academic knowledge with industrial expectations. The entire WHY Global Services team was delighted to have hosted the budding IT professionals and continues to remain committed to the fostering of technology talent through meaningful engagements.
