On April 25, 2025, GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology hosted a workshop titled “Become a Digital Marketer,” organized by second-year CSE student Mr. Darvin. The event immersed attendees in the practical aspects of digital marketing, offering both strategic insights and tool-based demonstrations.
Ms. Navanitha Sakthi, an HR executive, was the first speaker to examine the different service delivery models across the WHY Global Services, thus examining cross-cultural collaboration and quality measures in client-facing roles. Outsourcing and virtual teaming were justified by her in driving efficiency and growth in modern-day businesses.
Mr. Praveen, Digital Marketing Manager, gave the attendees insights into SEO, pay-per-click advertising, email campaigning techniques, and social media strategies. In a live demonstration, Mr. Praveen showed Google Ads and Google Analytics and explained how to analyze important metrics, target campaigns more efficiently, and maximize the ROI.
Participants engaged in discussions about internships, certifications, and emerging trends such as influencer marketing. They particularly appreciated the live demos, which simplified complex tools and concepts.
The session concluded with a networking mixer, full access to session recordings and resources, and a teaser for an upcoming advanced e-commerce deep-dive next term.
