Recently, the students of Computer Science, 3rd Year, at T.J.S. Engineering College had an opportunity for an enriching industrial visit to WHY Global Services. The learning session offered hands-on exposure to IT services, full stack development, digital marketing, and strategies to build a career in the industry. This is one attempt among many to narrow the gap created by academic learning from industrial expectations, equipping students with lifelong skills and knowledge in the outside world.
Exploring the IT Services of WHY Global Services
The visit was commenced with a friendly introduction into WHY Global Services and a brief overview regarding its IT services. The students furthermore gained insights as far as the company's expertise in software development, cloud solutions and digital transformation is concerned and understood how important IT is for business activities today.
Deep Dive into Full Stack Developments
An interesting session on the Full Stack Development, including domains such as frontend, backend, and database management, was conducted by Mr. Shays (Full Stack Developer). He emphasized the importance of using different technologies for the construction of scalable applications, while futuristic career prospects in this ever-growing field were high lighted in his discussion too. The session also emphasized the growing demand for full-stack developers in the industry along with the essential skills for success.
Mastering Digital Marketing Strategies
Mr. Sudalai Muthu (Digital Marketing Expert) held an in-depth session concerning Digital Marketing and Advertising Strategies. He discussed:

✔ Ad platforms: Meta (Facebook), Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads
✔ WhatsApp and Email marketing
✔ Salary trends in the digital marketing world
Students understood how a business used digital platforms for enhancement, audience engagement, and, of course, maximized return on investment. The real-time marketing analytics and campaign strategies showcased in a live demonstration.
Aptitude Challenge: Assessing Engineering Knowledge
To challenge and improve the students' problem-solving ability, a 30-question aptitude test was conducted on engineering principles and the basic concepts of computer science. It served to bring out the technical and logical ability perspectives of the pupils.
Career Guidance and Mock Interviews
The HR team through Ms. Monisha and Ms. Navanitha Sakthi, conducted an interactive career guidance program to address these areas:

✔ Mock interviews and feedback session
In this session, students learned what recruiters expect when seeking new employees and how to be more confident in impressing their talents to hiring managers during candidates entrevistas.

The industrial visit at WHY Global Services was a learning experience that translated an excellent education in IT services, full stack development, digital marketing, and the cultivation of careers into real life. Processes, small places, and very interactive teacher-student sessions as well as hands-on learning immediately helped prepare students in attendance for industrial exposure and future career opportunities.
