At WHY tap, we were happy to embrace the Pongal festival and revert to our cultural values through joy amidst work, activities, and related Fellowship for Interns & staffs. It was fun filled with games, creative challenges and full of joy and euphoria that surrounded everyone. Starting from normal competitions to modern games the day portrayed all team work, talent and the essence of Pongal.
Exciting Games and Activities
Rangoli Competition
Interns and staff proved their creativity by drawing perfect kolams (rangoli designs). The best, finest and deserving designs with Color and Creativity were provided prizes.
Fireless Cooking Challenge
To keep the non-processed food concept intact interesting teams were made to prepare different sumptuous meals from raw foods, imagination and collaboration. Great and delicious ideas and fusions were awarded with some special gifts.
Roll the Stick and Balloon Explode
A nice game where the individuals employed sticks to select balloons as fast as they could. What a joy and fun it was to the celebration.
Match the Cup
A quick game in which the players competed to see who can match the cups according to color or design. This was a fast, accurate shooting contest.
Connection Games
This cognitively challenging team activity required participants to find associations between names or words depending on indications arising interest and rivalry.
Flour Passing Challenge
Teams had to transfer flour from one participant to another by using spoons only. The team that pulled off the cleanest and quickest transfer won the game.
Dance Competition
People had lively dancing for the cheeriest music outputs wherein the most spirited dancers clinched booby performances.
Singing Contest
Interns and staff performed fabulous jingle and numerous songs which impressed all audience with their voices. Those with better voices received items.
Team Games, Individual Challenges
Group and individual tasks throughout required participation from everyone. These games built teamwork whilst at the same time encouraging rivalry.
A Celebration to Remember
Pongal was not just a celebration in WHY tap but it indeed was a journey from joy to unity and creativity. Every programme depicted the Pongal right from the kolam potti to the fireless cooking challenge. Candidates and employees joined into the spirit and made the day interesting and full of fun. Indeed, while participating in the last, joyous harvest festival that took place in WHY tap –it only strengthened the feeling of WHY tap family and became yet the happy addition to WHY tap story.
